About

We are a group of ecologists (disease, behavioral, and physiological) with diverse educational and cultural backgrounds sharing a common philosophy on education: we enjoy training undergraduates and we firmly believe that we can conduct high-impact research in the liberal arts setting.

The aim of our blog is to provide our readers with snapshots of how we conduct research in the liberal arts setting. We will highlight the ways in which we train undergraduates to think like scientists, track their development in our respective research labs, and share our successes. We will capitalize on the fact that each of us are in different stages in our academic career path and thus, we can provide a broad perspective on research at undergraduate institutions.
